Princess Anne Public School is an inner-city elementary school with approximately 480 students located in the West End of Sudbury. Princess Anne Public School draws its student population from an area that is bound on its northern border by Linden Street, Poplar Street, Beatty Street and Elm Street to the south and east by Lorne Street, to the west by Walter and Ronald Avenues, and to the west and northwest by Gilman Street and the Big Nickel Mine Road. The Gatchell area of Sudbury is entirely within the boundaries of the Princess Anne Public School area.
Princess Anne Public School is a Kindergarten to Grade 8 school with 7 Intensive Support Programs supporting the learning of special needs students. Our school offers Kindergarten Programs, the opportunity to study French or Ojibwe Language (grades 5 to 8), and a wide range of technology including SMART boards, iPads and computers. We are housed in a beautiful new building with a scenic natural playground. We offer a wide variety of sporting events and clubs. We encourage physical fitness and healthy eating through our programming.
We offer a daily breakfast club, open to all students. We also have licensed daycare on site provided by Larch Street Kids that includes infant, toddler and preschool care and before and after school care for school aged children!
